Hazel graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music. On completion of her undergraduate degree she went on to be awarded a Distinction for her Postgraduate Diploma in performance.
Hazel travels widely as a violinist and has performed across Europe, Canada, South Africa and Australia. As a soloist, highlights include a concerto performance in St Martin in the Fields, London and numerous recitals with her piano duo partner.
Hazel plays with many of the UK’s professional orchestras including Halle, CBSO, Northern Ballet, Theatre, RTE National Symphony Orchestra and London Concert Orchestra. She has also performed with many leading popular artists such as Leona Lewis, Joy Division, Michael Bublé, Bryn Terfel, Shirley Bassey and Il Divo. Hazel has toured extensively, leading orchestras for Aled Jones and Paul Potts. TV appearances include X Factor, Royal Variety Performance, Dancing on Ice and Sports Relief.
